Participants learn about ethnographic documentation, motifs, and cultural landscapes recorded on stones at near-by world class Three Rivers Petroglyph Site. This course introduces Native American tribal interpretations, observations of solar alignments during key times compared to early ritual and secular calendar systems outlined by Pueblo scholar Alphonso Ortiz.
